Singh & Associates, Inc. (SINGH) provided Electrical Engineering services to the Toll Authority. SINGH provided plans and specifications for roadway lighting and electrical engineering services for the three/four lane extension of the North South Tollway (I-355) from the end of the Stevenson Expressway to Will County to I-80.

The extension provides the region with connection that improves north-south mobility between Interstate 55 and Interstate 80. The goal of the extension was to reduce travel time and provide a more direct route between residential areas in Will County and other locales such as O’Hare Airport where jobs are more plentiful.

This extension runs through 13 different Municipalities and three counties. The 12.5-mile extension included noise abatement walls and six new interchanges.

SINGH as part of the team on this project provided roadway lighting and electrical engineering services. SINGH was responsible for contract plans, specifications, quantities and cost estimates for this project.
