SINGH, as Prime Consultant, is providing engineering design services for intersection improvements to East Avenue at 47th Street. Improvements include new traffic signals, drainage improvements, modifying existing lighting, upgrading railroad (RR) crossing gates, new sidewalk, upsizing and extending existing storm sewer, and improvements to nearby McCook Ditch. SINGH is responsible for Final PS+E for roadway including grading, RR crossing detail, sidewalk design, ADA curb ramp design, and earthwork as well as detailed drainage design including collection-conveyance, inlet spacing, discharge control, and grading. Scope includes USACE/IPA permit, NPDES Stormwater Permit, PESA, and coordination with utilities and IHB RR.
