The new Ravenswood Metra Station located on North Ravenswood Avenue, just south of West Lawrence Avenue serves Metra’s Union Pacific/North Line. The new station was constructed in combination with track upgrades and bridge reconstructions along the line.

As a sub-consultant to Alfred Benesch & Company, SINGH was responsible for the mechanical and plumbing design for the new METRA Ravenswood (East and West) Station. SINGH’s scope of work included the design of a HVAC system for the concession and ticket vending areas of the station at street level and the location and sizing of new infrared heating in the platform warming shelters. The plumbing design consisted of providing water and sewer service to the concession and ticket vendor areas and associated restrooms including the design of a storm sewer for platform drainage.

SINGH provided construction inspection services for the construction of the Ravenswood – West Station. The East Platform and Station is currently in construction and is expected to be complete in early 2018.
